Busy "Off-Season!", What do YOU think the Eagles need to do now?! (5 Replies, Read 21536 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Rookie Posts: 2 Status:	It is pretty much a foregone conclusion that everyone in Philly doesn't like the way Dawkins left or was seemingly treated by Eagles management. A lot don't like the departure of Thomas and Buck either. Sean "the human pinball" Considine is no loss and the trade of Greg Lewis for a 7th round pick and a ham sandwich was about 3 years late . That being said, what do YOU think the Eagles need to do now to retool a team that was as close to another Super Bowl matchup as they have been since 2004?! What do you want to see them do in the draft?! Time to speak your mind Legionnaires!!

It really seems like something needs to happen to their wallets to kick some sense into them. I think they've gotten comfortable because Philly fans are so faithful that we'll still pay to go see the teams, therefore there's not really much motivation for them to improve the team.

Group: Member Post Group: Rookie Posts: 2 Status:	Great addition to the O-line in Peters, but we do need to run the ball more to keep the defenses honest. It will improve the passing game even without another good receiver. It was pretty sad to see our offense struggle to score in the red zone without a running game last year. We can't continue to depend on our defense to keep us in ballgames. Eagle Ed

Group: Member Post Group: Rookie Posts: 1 Status:	Actually right now, I think we all believe that the focus should be at Running Back, and there are a lot of Options out there!!! Picking up a Moreno, And Andre Brown out of NC State, Donald Brown, Shonn Green. That would be huge, who says we can't get 2?? Than add another DT would be great not too much depth there in my opinion. . It will be interesting.

Group: Member Post Group: Rookie Posts: 1 Status:	Quimby-All I can say is "AMEN,BROTHER!!!!!" I am fed up with excuses, throwing up on the field, dancing during the game, throwing passes to receivers that would have to be trained to catch the ball with their feet. Our receivers did a great job, to my way of thinking. But I do believe it is time to move on down the line by getting rid of McNabb and Reid. I think McNabb needs a change of scenery and I think Reid needs to get his act together. I am from the South, but I bleed green. I am just saddened that it has come to the point where Eglaes fan get EXCITEDif we get a first down, not a touchdown!!!
